David Pardey
ACPAT Chartered Physiotherapist,
BSc (Hons), PG Diploma Veterinary Physiotherapy, MCSP, ACPAT (A)
Physiotherapist

David qualified with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy in 2002 and has worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist for both the National Health Service and in private practice for 14 years. Specialising in the assessment and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, he has most recently been working as an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP) physiotherapist running orthopaedic consultant clinics in an NHS setting. With a passion for dogs, he wished to utilise his specialist physiotherapy expertise for the benefit of our four legged friends.

David has gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy and is in his final year studying for his Masters degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Having undertaken a range of clinical placements here at Greyfriars under the supervision of Kate Watson, he is now extremely pleased to have joined this renowned rehabilitation team.

David is fascinated by the diversity within the canine breeds and how rehabilitation needs to be animal specific. His two young Labradors Arlo and Chester keep him constantly on his toes and were the inspiration for his MSc dissertation topic investigating the effects of the repetitive joint loading when dogs jump out of vehicles.

In his spare time David enjoys playing the trumpet and can usually be found in the great outdoors; whether it is on country walks, gardening, skiing or camping!
